摘 要： Let G be any graph and PG(q) its chromatic polynomial. The study of the real and complex zeros of PG(q) has attracted many mathematicians since the chromatic polynomial was introduced by Birkhoff in 1912. One important class of results concerns bounds on the zeros of PG(q) in terms of  the graph's maximum degree. This talk will give a survey on this class of results.
