备注：摘要：We celebrate this year the 200th anniversary of the birth of Evariste Galois, one of the greatest mathematicians of all time. In this lecture I shall first explain what Galois actually discovered in the theory of algebraic equations, and then show how his ideas are still alive in present-day research.
