Lecture 1: Understanding of Movements and Thermodynamics

Abstract: Having a good modeling sense is a big advantage for many reasons. I will give a simple modeling process for changes and movements. Then, as an example, I will give a short lecture for thermodynamics from a mathematician's view. Several PDEs related to heat conduction will be introduced.

Lecture 3：Generalization of One Sided Inequalities

Abstract: Oleinik inequality is a key estimate in scalar conservation laws. Aronson-Benilan inequality plays the same role in Porous Medium Equations. In fact, they are the same ones if we see them in a unified view point, which will be introduced in the lecture. It seems that geometric arguments based approaches are important to have such a view.
