备  注：Abstract: In this series of talks (seminars), I will first give a briefly review of the theory of complex geometry. I will then introduce the theory of holomorphic curves (which can be viewed as an extension of the theory of algebraic curves), also known as the value distribution theory (Nevanlinna theory) of several complex variables. The recent discovery (by Vojta, Lang) of the striking analogy of the theory to Diophantine approximation in number theory will be discussed. Finally, I'll give the application of the theory to the study of the Gauss maps of minimal urfaces in R^3 and R^n.
