备注：Abstract: For a compact 4-dimensional Riemannian manifold, in 1983, S. Paneitz introduced a fourth order operator,so called Paneitz operator. In 1987, T.P. Branson generalized this operator to compact Riemannian manifolds of the higher dimension, which are also called Paneitz operator (or Branson-Paneitz operator). In this talk, we report our recent results about the estimates of the eigenvalue of the Paneitz operator for compact submanifolds in terms of the mean curvature and $Q$ curvature.
