主讲人简介：美国历史学家，耶鲁大学“查尔斯·J.斯蒂尔历史学教授”（the Charles J. Stille Professor of History），主要研究方向为第一次世界大战及其对二十世纪的影响，在这方面出版了多部极具影响的历史著作；其研究兴趣还包括20世纪英国与欧洲史、战争与社会、历史与记忆等。著有The Great War and the British People、Sites of Memory, Sites of Mourning、The Great War in History: Debates and Controversies, 1914 to the Present、The Great War and the Twentieth Century、Rene Cassin et les droits de l’homme等。
