系列讲座:Harmonic Analysis and Its Applications in PDE

备   注:讲座摘要:The modern theory of harmonic analysis, especially singular integrals developed by Calderon and Zygmund, has proved to be a very fruitful part of analysis. In these lectures we will illustrate how tools of harmonic analysis can be used to solve the problems in PDE. These tools are: Hardy-Littlewood maximal and non-tangential maximal functions; Weighted inequalities; Calderon-Zygmund real variable methods; the Littlewood-Paley theory; the Hardy spaces and restriction of the Fourier transform.

Contents of the lectures are: the boundary behavior of harmonic functions and maximal functions; the Dirichlet Laplacian in the Lipschitz domains and the Muckenhoupt weight theory; Elliptic partial differential equations with constant coefficients and the first generation of Calderon-Zygmund singular integral operators; Pseudo-differential operators and the second generation of Calderon-Zygmund operators; The Dirichlet and Neumann problems in the Lipschitz domains and the third generation of Calderon-Zygmund operators; Restriction of the Fourier transform and Strichartz estimates.

 

主讲人简介:韩永生教授1981年于北京大学获硕士学位,1984年于美国Washington University in St. Louis获博士学位,师从于国际著名调和分析专家G. Weiss教授。目前,他是美国Auburn大学数学系终身教授。韩永生教授长期从事调和分析的教学与研究,尤其是函数空间理论方面做出了主要贡献,已在国内外知名期刊上发表了高水平学术论文60余篇,现担任多家国际数学杂志编委。
