报告人简介：1994年4月在浙江大学获得理学博士学位，1994年6月至1996年6月在武汉大学从事博士后研究工作，1996年6月至今在浙江大学数学系工作。 主要研究方向为：函数逼近理论、小波分析理论、压缩传感研究理论。2000年以来曾获得多项国家自然科学基金资助，关于小波分析与压缩传感领域的研究成果得到同行的认可，主要研究成果作为第一完成人获得2012年度教育部自然科学二等奖。

报告摘要：Sparse signal recovery is very popular in engineering,life science and medical images. In this talk, I shall investigate a few mathematical approximation methods for sparse signal recovery. In particular, we will focus on approximation theory and wavelets analysis theory. Some interesting results were introduced.
